Tuesday’s class focused on what we will be doing in order to accomplish and get our job done based on the role we have been assigned for this memo. I am the submission manager, I wasn’t sure how to approach this job because I’ve never really done a project that has me in charge of submission. After some thinking, I realized the most efficient way is for me to take the information that my team mates find and put it all into the memo, explain the articles and fix any grammatical mistakes. I also thought it would be a good idea to make it a priority to have all the information and either the finished draft and final memo by at least the day before the due date so we wouldn’t be stuck working last minute. For Thursday, we had to post a progress update. As submission manager I had to fit the introduction of the topic supervisor and the resources of the research director. I think this was really helpful because it had us start working early and avoided any last minute work.
