For Tuesday’s class, after reading chapter 2 in the textbook, I decided to discuss that “Telling the Truth” is the most important Principle of Ethical Communication. After uploading my post, I was surprised to see 5 people replied to my post. After reading all of the replies to me, I realized that many of us think very similarly which surprised me because there were many other great options for the most important Principle if Ethical Communications. Also, after reading Xiaohu’s post, I started to realize how important not misleading your reader is and helped me draw connections between that principle and telling the truth. For Thursday’s class I was able to choose a PlayStation 4 as my mechanism for the description we will write as well as learn more about my classmate’s interests through their object/mechanism.
